한국형 로빈후드를 내세워 모바일 주식거래 플랫폼 ‘바닐라’를 개발하던 줌인터넷이 1년 만에 사업을 정리했다. KB증권과 함께 투자·개발했지만, 흥행에 실패하며 지난해 당기순이익과 맞먹는 부담을 지게 됐다. 줌인터넷은 검색 점유율은 2% 수준으로, 바닐라 서비스를 신성장동력 사업으로 추진해왔다.

Zoom Internet abandons Korean-style 'Robin Hood' Vanilla MTS.
Zoom Internet, which developed a mobile stock trading platform 'Vanilla' with the introduction of a Korean-style Robin Hood, closed its business after a year. It invested and developed with KB Securities, but failed at the box office and had a burden equal to last year's net profit. Zoom Internet has a 2% search market share and has been promoting Vanilla service as a new growth engine.
