Ador CEO Min offers to reconcile with Hybe

Ador CEO Min Hee-jin expressed her willingness to reach a compromise with Hybe, the parent company of Ador, in order to resolve their ongoing dispute and ensure the success of the label and its popular K-pop group NewJeans. She emphasized the importance of finding common ground, especially with significant events like NewJeans' upcoming Tokyo Dome concert and world tour, and expressed her hope that opportunities for the group would not be jeopardized due to the current issue. Min also highlighted her dedication to Ador and her belief that the label has made significant contributions to Hybe, particularly through the financial success of NewJeans. She suggested that a compromise would involve Hybe withdrawing its accusation of breach of duty against her. Following a recent extraordinary shareholders' meeting where Hybe removed two board members from Ador, Min filed a preliminary injunction to prevent her dismissal and the court granted it just before the meeting. Hybe accepted the court's ruling and replaced the removed directors with three top executives from its headquarters. Min expressed her willingness to work with the new directors as long as she retains her position as CEO, emphasizing that any interference with her role would constitute a breach of trust. She also conveyed her hope for reconciliation and moving forward from the current situation.
