Ateez hopes to continue shining bright with music and performances


K-pop boy group Ateez unveiled their 10th EP, "Golden Hour: Part 1," marking the debut of the "Golden Hour" series following their previous series: "Treasure," "Fever," and "The World." Seonghwa of Ateez expressed that the new series aims to capture the golden moments experienced and anticipated in the future through their music. The EP features six tracks, with the title track "Work" leading the way, characterized by its hip-hop style and captivating hook, with lyrics penned by group leader Hongjoong. Notably, the choreography for the lead track was crafted by renowned choreographer J Blaze, known for his work with artists like Justin Bieber and Chris Brown. Ateez's recent performance at the Coachella Valley Music Festival garnered acclaim for its incorporation of traditional Korean elements, such as the "ganggangsulae" circle dance, into their choreography. The group's members expressed their commitment to continuous improvement, with Jongho highlighting his dedication to vocal lessons even during world tours. Looking ahead, Ateez is scheduled to perform at Japan's Summer Sonic 2024, with Hongjoong emphasizing their desire to share their story through their music and shine on a global stage. Additionally, the group aims to become artists who can fully engage with their audience and enjoy performing on large stages.
