A.Virtual's air sanitizer hits Dubai market


A.Virtual, a provider of air sterilization solutions, announced its partnership with Sharaf DG, the largest electronics retailer in the Middle East, to introduce its air sanitizer to the Dubai market. The company's air sanitizer with sterilization capabilities will be exclusively available in five Sharaf DG stores in Dubai, including locations in Dubai Mall, Deira City Centre, Times Square Centre, Mirdif City Centre, and Dubai Hills. With plans to expand to all 40 Sharaf DG stores by the end of the year, A.Virtual's CEO Kim Tae-jun signed an export contract valued at approximately 10 billion won ($7.3 million) for the supply of air sanitizers to the Middle East in June last year. A.Virtual is also developing second-generation portable air sanitizers and aims to enter the business-to-business market in collaboration with local construction companies in the Middle East. Established in 2020, A.Virtual has made a significant impact in the artificial intelligence convergence sector and is headquartered in Korea with a branch in the United Arab Emirates. The company is experiencing rapid annual growth of 110 percent and is recognized as a deep tech company with expertise in nanotechnology. A company official highlighted their superior technological innovations and business viability, positioning A.Virtual as a next-generation startup.
