Babymonster to drop 1st LP in October

YG Entertainment, led by founder and executive producer Yang Hyun-suk, unveiled its upcoming projects for the latter half of the year in a brief YouTube video. The plans include new releases from girl group Babymonster and boy group Treasure. YG's efforts to expedite project launches were highlighted, with the music producer count having been boosted from 10 to 50 earlier this year. Babymonster is gearing up for the release of their first full studio album in October, with a pre-album single slated for early July. Additionally, a performance video for "Like That," a track from Babymonster's debut EP, is set to be released this month. Meanwhile, Treasure is making a comeback after a 10-month hiatus, with their new single "King Kong" being introduced during their Asia tour. The group's members, Choi Hyun-suk and Yoshi, contributed to the song's lyrics, and notable K-pop producers were involved in its composition. Treasure's busy schedule includes an ongoing Asia tour and an upcoming fan meeting tour in Japan in July.
