Dabeeo launches palm oil farm AI monitoring project in Indonesia, covering area larger than Seoul

Dabeeo, a leading geospatial intelligence AI technology firm, has recently initiated a groundbreaking AI monitoring project for palm oil farms in Indonesia. The project, which covers an area larger than Seoul, South Korea, is the result of a partnership with Tunas Sawa Erma Group, a major palm oil producer in Indonesia. Dabeeo's CEO, Ju Hum Park, emphasized the unique application of high-precision satellite imagery in agriculture, highlighting the company's pioneering role in this domain. The project aims to revolutionize palm oil farm monitoring by leveraging AI analysis and ultra-high-resolution satellite imagery to streamline current monitoring methods, detect deviations such as diseased trees, and optimize fertilization plans through nutrient analysis. This latest venture represents an expansion for Dabeeo, following its previous palm oil farm monitoring projects in Malaysia. The company sees Indonesia and Malaysia as key markets due to their significant palm oil production. Dabeeo aims to utilize its recent partnerships in these countries as a platform for further business expansion. Furthermore, Dabeeo is developing a platform in collaboration with TSE Group to provide easy access to the analyzed data, catering to the needs of farm managers in areas with limited internet connectivity. The platform, based on Dabeeo's "Dabeeo Eartheye" technology, enables rapid access to large data volumes and enhances overall farm operations by facilitating efficient resource allocation and immediate on-site action.
