Daewoo E&C chairman meets Cambodian PM


Daewoo Engineering & Construction Chairman Jung Won-ju met with Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet during the latter's visit to South Korea, aiming to garner support for the company's expansion plans in Cambodia. Jung sought backing for Korean companies investing in the Cambodian market and discussed ways to enhance economic cooperation between the two nations. He expressed Daewoo E&C's intention to leverage its expertise in urban development projects to venture into new city and real estate development projects in Cambodia, with the belief that these initiatives would contribute significantly to Cambodia's economic growth by attracting global investment. Additionally, Daewoo E&C signed a memorandum of understanding with Cambodian logistics giant WorldBridge Group, aiming to establish a cooperative framework for joint development projects in Cambodia. This partnership aligns with Chairman Jung's growth strategy for Daewoo E&C as a global developer, with the company committed to using these engagements as a foundation for new market exploration and contributing to bilateral cooperation and economic development between South Korea and Cambodia.
