[Herald Review] Highlight kicks off Asia tour with memory-filled Seoul concert


Despite the heavy rain, the KSPO Dome in Seoul was packed with fans eager to see boy band Highlight perform as part of their Asia tour "Lights Go On, Again." The three concerts held on May 10-12 marked the group's 15th anniversary and their first concerts in two years. Amidst crimson lights and lasers, the quartet delivered intense performances of both new and old songs, engaging the crowd with emotional renditions and upbeat rhythms that showcased their musical diversity. Highlight's excitement was palpable as they performed several songs from their early days under their former name "Beast," having recently regained the trademark rights to their original group name through an agreement with their former agency, Cube Entertainment. Expressing deep significance for both the members and fans, the group delighted the audience with their past hits while also showcasing songs representing their future. The three-hour concert, comprising 28 songs including an encore, concluded with the members expressing gratitude towards their fans and reflecting on their journey and the significance of reclaiming the name "Beast." Following the Seoul concert, Highlight is set to continue their tour in Hong Kong, Bangkok, Taiwan, and Japan. The members expressed their joy and gratitude for the support of their fans and their excitement for future performances, emphasizing the significance of reclaiming their original name and the enduring connection with their fans.
