Hyundai Elevator marks 40 years with vision for future innovation


Hyundai Elevator, South Korea's largest elevator manufacturer, celebrated its 40th anniversary with a focus on ESG management and urban air mobility, aiming to establish itself as a centennial company. During the ceremony, Hyundai Group Chairwoman Hyun Jeong-eun emphasized the company's growth and innovation over the past four decades, expressing the commitment to achieving further technological advances in the future. The event was attended by over 600 executives and employees, as well as local officials, and featured social events and performances, reflecting on the company's history. In alignment with its anniversary, Hyundai Elevator introduced an ESG management slogan, "Elevate Together, Elevate To Better," emphasizing the healthy growth of its industrial ecosystem. The celebration also included a choir performance by a group established through Hyundai Elevator's partnership with the Korea Employment Agency for Persons with Disabilities, as well as a plogging donation campaign to raise funds for charitable causes. Looking ahead, the company aims to set new standards and continue innovating, with a focus on integrating elevator and robot services and pursuing urban air mobility projects.
