NewJeans' members' parents complained to Hybe, email shows

Embattled Ador CEO Min Hee-jin has involved the parents of NewJeans' members in the ongoing dispute with Hybe in an effort to garner public support against the parent company, according to Hybe. A local media outlet revealed an email from the parents, sent through Ador to Hybe on April 3, expressing regret towards Hybe's CEO and another subsidiary's CEO over suspicions of plagiarism by another group under Hybe. The parents also complained that Hybe's Chairman had ignored the NewJeans members when they greeted him at the company's headquarters in Seoul. In response, Hybe issued an official statement denying the allegations and accusing Min of using the artists and their parents to shield her from the breach of trust allegations. Hybe also stated that they had replied to the parents' email on April 16, asserting that there was no plagiarism and refuting the claim that the Chairman had ignored the NewJeans members' greetings.
