[Today’s K-pop] Ateez ready to shine with 10th EP


Ateez recently held a press conference in Seoul to present their upcoming EP "Golden Hour: Part 1," set to be released on Friday. The band members expressed their dedication to this album, emphasizing its significance as the first installment of the "Golden Hour" series and their inaugural release of the year. The EP, consisting of six tracks, is described as capturing Ateez's shining moments and their pursuit of their dreams, as highlighted by the main track "Work." NCT's Jaehyun has been invited by American singer-songwriter Lauv to join him on stage at the Seoul Jazz Festival 2024 on June 2. The two artists have maintained a connection since 2019, with Jaehyun's cover of Lauv's "I Like Me Better" receiving significant attention. Additionally, Jaehyun is preparing for the release of his first solo album in the third quarter of this year. (G)I-dle is set to embark on their third international tour, "iDOL," starting in Seoul on August 3. The tour will encompass 13 cities worldwide, following the success of their previous tour, "I am Free-ty." The group recently celebrated their sixth debut anniversary and achieved a million-seller status with their second studio album "Two," which entered the Billboard 200 at No. 132. Ha Sungwoon, who recently completed his mandatory military service, will be hosting a fan meetup in Seoul on June 22-23, marking his first in-person interaction with fans since his return. He has been active in the music scene, contributing to various original soundtracks and releasing his seventh EP "Strange World" in August 2022.
