[Today’s K-pop] NewJeans pop-up store to open in Seoul

NewJeans' agency, Ador, announced the opening of a pop-up store in Seoul to celebrate the release of the group's new single, "How Sweet." Running from June 5 to 17, the temporary store will resemble a retro vinyl record shop and feature a photo zone with an analog vibe. Additionally, fans can expect a variety of merchandise, including a collaboration with The Powerpuff Girls. The single has already achieved significant success, selling over 810,000 copies on its release day and ranking high on music charts. In August, fromis_9 is set to release a new album, as reported by a local media outlet. Pledis Entertainment also revealed plans for a photo exhibition in Seoul from July 5 to 14 to commemorate the release of their photo book, "From Summer." Meanwhile, Infinite is hosting a fan meetup on July 13-14, marking the first time in seven years that all six members will meet their fans in person together. The band is also celebrating its 14th anniversary with the release of a digital single titled "Flower" on June 9. Additionally, Kim Jaehwan, formerly of Wanna One, will begin his mandatory military service on July 1 as a member of the Army's military band, following the recent release of his seventh EP, "I Adore."
