K-pop newcomers Zerobaseone have concluded their "Youth" trilogy with the release of their third EP, "You had me at HELLO," on Monday. This album follows their two previous million-selling EPs: "Youth In The Shade," which started the trilogy exploring the resilience and brightness that comes from facing the hardships of youth, and "Melting Point," which focused on becoming a protective force for their fans who helped fulfill their dreams of becoming K-pop artists. Zerobaseone is made up of nine members selected through Mnet's "Boys Planet" idol survival reality show. The group's third EP features seven tracks that delve into themes of youth experiencing love at first sight. During a press conference in Seoul, Zhang Hao expressed that the title track, "You had me at HELLO," is a bright and uplifting song perfect for the summer season, aimed at helping listeners alleviate stress. Additionally, Zerobaseone collaborated with Young K from the popular K-pop boy band Day 6 on "Hello," for which Young K penned the lyrics. This song serves as a promise from the group to their fans, aiming to further strengthen their bond with their fandom, Zerose. The group conveyed gratitude to their fans for the support they've received and expressed excitement for their upcoming first world tour in the latter part of the year. Furthermore, the members are broadening their individual career horizons by hosting local TV music shows and contributing to the original soundtrack of a well-received Korean drama series. Sung Han-bin, the leader of Zerobaseone, emphasized the significance of their third EP in shaping the group's future and shared their ambitious goal of winning the grand prize at the upcoming MAMA Awards.
