Dream Concert World in Japan to take place in August

The poster advertises the 2024 Dream Concert World in Japan (KEPA), an annual event that has been running for 30 years and is set to take place in August. Originating in South Korea in 1995, the Dream Concert has become a significant fixture in the K-pop calendar, featuring numerous musical artists over the years. With the theme "With Music We Got a Friend," the concerts will be held over two days, on Aug. 10-11, at the Belluna Dome in Saitama, Japan. This marks the second overseas edition of the Dream Concert, following the first event held on June 18 last year at the Saitama Super Arena in Japan. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and 2021, Dream Concert maintained its connection with fans through online events. This year's concerts will showcase a diverse lineup, including artists from Hybe, JYP Entertainment, and SM Entertainment, representing various genres and generations of the K-pop scene. The upcoming concert will be hosted by Kyunghyang Shinmun, the Korea Entertainment Producer's Association, Forest Media, and Forest Japan. Additionally, a 30th-anniversary Dream Concert will also take place in South Korea, with further details to be announced at a later date.
