EXO-CBX and SM clash over contract issues again

SM Entertainment has rebutted the claims made by EXO members Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin regarding an "unfair" demand for revenue from their individual activities. The trio, also known as EXO-CBX, accused SM of violating their contract by demanding more revenue than agreed upon. However, SM responded by stating that the trio had secured a favorable distribution deal and had suffered no damage from their contract signed with the agency in June of last year. Furthermore, the conflict escalated when EXO-CBX notified SM of their intention to terminate their exclusive contracts due to inadequate accounting data. This ultimately led to the artists filing an antitrust complaint with the Fair Trade Commission against SM. The tension between the two parties persisted, with legal representatives and voice clips being presented at a press conference. The ongoing dispute has raised the possibility of legal action and cancellation of the agreement. Baekhyun, one of the involved artists, expressed his intentions of establishing the agency, INB100, to closely interact with his fans. He emphasized that the agency was not meant to become a large label, but rather to facilitate meaningful engagement with his supporters through various means.
