[Today’s K-pop] Blackpink’s Rose to join The Black Label: report

Rose of Blackpink is reported to be signing with The Black Label, an affiliate of YG Entertainment headed by producer Teddy, who has been instrumental in the success of Blackpink. The Black Label has confirmed that they are in talks with Rose following the report. This news comes after all four members of Blackpink renewed their contracts with YG Entertainment in December, with the exception of Rose, who has been pursuing her solo career. Enhypen is set to release their second studio album, "Romance: Untold," on July 12, marking the beginning of a new series for the band. This follows the success of their previous releases, including their fifth EP "Orange Blood," which sold over 1.87 million copies in the first week and debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200. Babymonster, under YG Entertainment, has teased a pre-release from their first full album, set to be released between September and October. The group's first EP "Babymons7er" has already sold over half a million copies, with the main track "Sheesh" debuting on Spotify's Daily Top Songs global chart at No. 69. Treasure, also under YG Entertainment, has confirmed that Seoul will be the final stop for their second Asia tour, with two live performances scheduled for August 15. The band is also promoting the digital single "King Kong," which debuted at the top of the iTunes Top Songs chart in 18 regions.
