[Today’s K-pop] BTS’ Jungkook hits Billboard’s Hot 100 with fan song


Jungkook of BTS achieved his seventh entry on Billboard's Hot 100 with his solo digital single "Never Let Go," which debuted at No. 97. This accomplishment solidified his record as the K-pop solo artist with the most entries on the chart. The song, dedicated to fans, also reached No. 60 on the UK's Official Singles Chart Top 100 and topped the iTunes Top Songs chart in 102 regions. Additionally, the American publication chronicled all entries from the seven BTS members as a group and as soloists. Seventeen subunit Jeonghan x Wonwoo's first single "This Man" sold over 530,000 copies on its release day, with the lead track "Last Night" topping the iTunes Top Songs chart in 26 regions. The album "17 Is Right Here" by the 13-member act has been on the Billboard 200 for five consecutive weeks and earned double platinum certification in Japan. Le Sserafim achieved 100 million streams on Spotify with their song "Impurities," marking their 10th song to reach this milestone. The group's second EP "Antifragile" became their first album to sell over a million and hit No. 14 on the Billboard 200. The group is also set to embark on a fan meeting tour in Japan later this month. Fantasy Boys, a rookie boy band, is preparing for their first fan meeting in Korea next month, following their debut in Japan. The 11-member group will release their debut album "Make a Fantasy" and host a small concert in Tokyo. They previously dropped their third EP "Make Sunshine" in May.
