[Today’s K-pop] NCT’s Doyoung adds dates to solo tour


Doyoung of NCT has extended his solo Asia tour in response to his fans' requests, revealed SM Entertainment on Friday. The tour, titled "Dear Youth," commenced with a sold-out three-day concert in Seoul and will continue with upcoming performances in Taipei and Bangkok. The set list for the tour will feature tracks from his first solo album, "Youth," which achieved top rankings on iTunes' top albums chart in 13 regions. Super Junior, the veteran idol band, is set to release a single album titled "Show Time" on June 11 to commemorate their 19th debut anniversary. The single, showcasing the group's distinctive groovy rhythm and impactful sounds, follows their previous successful album "The Road" Celebration. Additionally, the band will kick off their Asia tour, "Super Show Spin-Off: Halftime," with a two-day concert in Seoul before visiting various cities across the region. FT Island is preparing to make a comeback with their seventh full album on July 10, as reported by FNC Entertainment. The band will also hold a concert in Seoul in late June before the album release. This marks their first full album in approximately eight years, following their ninth EP "Sage" released last September. Lastly, girl group Weki Meki is gearing up to release their digital single "CoinciDestiny" on June 12, which will be their final release as a group. The single, the first full-group effort in over 2 1/2 years, will mark the end of their time together as the members' contracts with the agency are set to expire in August.
