[Today’s K-pop] NewJeans to drop pre-release from Japan debut single

NewJeans is set to release a B-side track from their debut single in Japan ahead of the full album launch, as announced by Ador on Monday. The music video for the song "Right Now" is scheduled to be revealed on June 17, four days before the release of the single "Supernatural." The video will feature characters styled after The Powerpuff Girls, representing each of the five group members, and will also include contributions from Japanese contemporary artist Murakami Takashi and an exclusive range of accompanying bags. Following the release, NewJeans will host a fan meetup at Tokyo Dome on June 26-27, achieving this milestone less than two years after their debut, setting a record for international artists. BTS members will come together on June 12 to celebrate Jin's military discharge, with all seven members reuniting for the occasion. While Big Hit Music has not confirmed the report, Jin is expected to resume activities immediately after completing his military service, including participating in the band's annual festival and hosting a meet-and-greet with fans. It is also anticipated that Jin will release his solo album soon, as all members of BTS are fulfilling their mandatory military service, with each member expected to complete their service by June next year.
