Ador's Min files suit against 5 Hybe officials

The ongoing feud between Hybe and Ador CEO Min Hee-jin has escalated further, with Min filing a lawsuit against several Hybe executives, including CEO Park Ji-won, for obstruction of business, illegal acquisition of messenger conversations, leaking personal information, and defamation. According to Min, the Hybe officers have unlawfully obtained and manipulated private conversations, as well as spreading false information about her. This legal action follows Source Music, a subsidiary of Hybe, publicly disputing Min's claims that they copied her strategy for launching the K-pop girl group NewJeans. Source Music denied the allegations, stating that Min's strategy was intended for her own label, Ador, and not for the project girl group N team under Source Music. The dispute also involves allegations from local media outlet Dispatch that Min had taken trainees from Source Music to form NewJeans, which Min's lawyers have refuted, claiming that Chairman Bang Si-hyuk had encouraged Min to proceed with her launch strategy under her own label. The conflict has led to lawsuits and counterclaims between the parties, with both sides vowing to release additional evidence to clarify the situation.
