BBC to unveil entertainment series encapsulating launch of British K-pop boy group this summer

BBC is set to air a new entertainment series called "Made in Korea: The K-pop Experience" this summer, which will document the journey of creating a British K-pop boy group under the renowned K-pop company SM Entertainment. The series, consisting of six episodes, will follow the group's formation and their rigorous K-pop training under SM Entertainment's guidance, with the aim of preparing them for a successful global debut. SM Entertainment has partnered with the British entertainment company Moon&Back for this project, and the series will showcase the group's development as they are mentored by SM Entertainment's top choreographers, songwriters, and K-pop experts. Both BBC and Moon&Back are enthusiastic about the show, with BBC's head of Entertainment, Kalpna Patel-Knight, expressing excitement about the unique insight it will provide into the world of K-pop, while Moon&Back's co-founder Nigel Hall sees it as a groundbreaking and unmissable television event. The series is scheduled to premiere on BBC One and BBC iPlayer in the upcoming summer season.
