Hybe's efforts to win fans’ hearts appear unproductive

Hybe's ongoing dispute with Ador CEO Min Hee-jin has led to Source Music, a subsidiary of Hybe, planning to release a documentary series showcasing the hardships faced by the K-pop group Le Sserafim over the past year. This move is seen as an attempt to counter Min's claims of preferential treatment towards Le Sserafim by highlighting their success through hard work. The documentary series, titled "Le Sserafim – Make It Look Easy," is set to premiere on Hybe Labels' YouTube channel and will feature the group's experiences after debuting, including their first US promotional appearances and world tour last year. In a similar effort, Hybe subsidiary Belift Lab also tried to refute allegations made by Min regarding its rookie girl band Illit, but faced backlash from fans due to inaccuracies in their comparison of choreography and the involvement of another K-pop agency not initially involved in the allegations. Despite Hybe's attempts to influence public sentiment, some critics believe that the company should focus on developing quality content and talent rather than engaging in the ongoing conflict with Min. Overall, Hybe's efforts to address the dispute with Min and Ador have been met with mixed reactions, with some critics suggesting that the company should prioritize its content development and talent management over engaging in the conflict.
