[Today’s K-pop] Ateez opens pop-up store in Seoul

A pop-up store featuring characters based on the Ateez members opened in Seoul, offering a new range of merchandise. The band's 10th EP, "Golden Hour: Part 1," has spent four consecutive weeks on the Billboard 200, debuting at No. 2. A North American tour is set to kick off on July 14, visiting 10 cities including Los Angeles, New York, and Toronto. Additionally, Babymonster is set to host its first fan meeting in Seoul on August 10-11, marking the final stop of their fan-meet tour across Asia. The group recently released a digital single "Forever," which achieved success on iTunes and YouTube. WayV, a subunit under NCT, secured the No. 1 spot on Oricon's daily album ranking with their fifth EP, marking their first time achieving this feat. The group also topped the iTunes Top Albums chart in 19 regions and various music charts in China with their EP "Give Me That." Meanwhile, Lee Chaeyeon, formerly of IZ*One, introduced her third solo EP, "Showdown," at a media showcase in Seoul. The album features her participation in choreography and songwriting for the main track "Don't," reflecting her desire to express herself through her music. This release comes approximately 1 1/2 years after her solo debut following the disbandment of IZ*One.
