[Today’s K-pop] Blackpink to host autograph session

Blackpink has announced an upcoming autograph session on August 8th to celebrate their eighth debut anniversary. The event will include 88 lucky fans selected through a draw. This marks the group's first full-group activity since the members received honorary medals from Britain's King Charles last year. Despite pursuing individual careers, the group renewed their contract with YG Entertainment for group activities. SHINee's Taemin is set to embark on his first solo tour, "Ephemeral Gaze," starting on August 31st in Incheon and visiting ten other cities across Asia. This announcement follows his fan meeting in Seoul, where he revealed plans for a fifth solo EP next month. His previous solo album, "Guilty," achieved success by topping iTunes Top Albums chart in 38 regions last year. Suga of BTS, also known as Agust D, has reached a streaming milestone with his solo album "D-Day," logging 900 million streams on Spotify. This marks his second album to achieve this feat, following his 2020 mixtape, "D-2." He holds the title of the first solo singer from Korea to have multiple albums surpassing this milestone and is also the first rapper from Asia to exceed 4 billion plays on Spotify. His first solo studio album, "D-Day," debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and continues to make an impact on the charts. HyunA's North American tour has been canceled, disappointing fans who were anticipating her performances in various cities. This news comes after the release of her ninth solo EP, "Attitude," and the announcement of her upcoming marriage to fellow singer Yong Jun-hyung in October.
