[Today’s K-pop] Jay Park to host fan meeting in Seoul


Jay Park is scheduled to meet fans in Seoul on August 10-11, marking his first fan meetup in 11 years. The event, titled "Jay Park Season 3: Dedicated 2 U," is part of the musician's ongoing project and focuses on his commitment to music. Since April, Jay Park has released a series of singles as part of this project, collaborating with renowned artists such as Natty of Kiss of Life, producer GooseBumps, and engineer David Yungin Kim. Meanwhile, HyunA and Yong Junhyung are reportedly getting married on October 11 in Seoul, following their public announcement of their relationship in January. Both artists have been pursuing their solo careers, with HyunA releasing her ninth solo EP "Attitude" in May and Yong releasing his third solo EP "Beautiful Dystopia" in March. Highlight's Lee Gikwang will be holding his first solo concert in five years in Seoul on August 17-18, marking his return to the stage after completing his military service. His previous solo album "Predator" achieved success internationally, topping the iTunes Top Albums chart in Chile and ranking highly in other countries. Additionally, NCT Wish's second single "Songbird" has surpassed half a million in sales in its first week, setting new records for the youngest subunit of NCT. The group has been promoting their two-track single in both Korean and Japanese versions, achieving high pre-order numbers and strong sales results.
