[Today’s K-pop] Taeyang to host solo concert after 7 years


Taeyang has announced his upcoming solo concert in Seoul on August 31 and September 1 through The Black Label, marking his first standalone show in seven years. Following the Seoul concert, he will embark on a tour across Asia. Taeyang recently released his second solo EP, "Down to Earth," featuring tracks like "Vibe," "Shoong!", and "Seed," with "Vibe" achieving significant success on music charts and topping iTunes in multiple regions. Red Velvet is preparing to release a fan-dedicated single titled "Sweet Dreams" on August 1, coinciding with their tenth debut anniversary. The single will be part of a repackaged version of their EP "Cosmic," which initially reached No. 1 on the iTunes Top Albums chart in 50 regions. Additionally, the group will kick off a fan concert tour called "Happiness: My Dear, ReVe1uv" in Seoul and visit other Asian cities. GOT7's Bambam is reportedly gearing up for a solo comeback with a new album in early August, following his successful solo tour "Area 52" and overcoming an ankle injury. Meanwhile, Zerobaseone has announced its first international tour, "Timeless World," which will take them to various cities in Asia and Japan, as the group celebrates its first debut anniversary.
