[Today’s K-pop] Twice gives peek at 5th Japan LP

Twice previewed their upcoming fifth studio album in Japan and is set to release the LP "Dive" on July 17. The group will also kick off their Japan tour later this month, performing in three stadiums, including Nissan Stadium in Kanagawa, making them the first non-Japanese female act to hold a standalone concert at this venue. Meanwhile, Tomorrow X Together's Japan single "Chikai" debuted at the top of Oricon's daily single ranking, and the group is preparing for their "Act: Promise" tour in Japan. Additionally, BTS' Jimin achieved the No. 7 spot on the UK's The Official Big Top 40 chart with his solo single "Smeraldo Garden Marching Band," marking the only entry from a K-pop artist in the top 10. Zerobaseone secured the highest sales in Japan among K-pop artists, with their debut single achieving double platinum status and topping Oricon's weekly, weekly combined, and monthly single rankings. The group is also scheduled to perform at the Summersonic 2024 music festival and will embark on their first international tour in September.
