TXT premieres VR concert

TXT, a K-pop boy group, has revealed plans for their inaugural virtual reality concert, "Hyperfocus: Tomorrow X Together VR Concert." Taking place from July 31 to Aug. 27 at Megabox Coex in Seoul's Gangnam-gu district, the 60-minute VR spectacle will showcase pre-recorded performances of popular tracks like "Sugar Rush Ride" and "Deja Vu." Audiences will don VR headsets to enjoy a unique concert experience, with the cutting-edge use of 9K+ live-action filming technology, Unreal Engine-powered visual effects, and AI superresolution. The concert promises to provide a highly detailed and immersive encounter with the group, placing the audience in a virtual environment that boasts vivid and high-resolution visuals. The concert will offer a dynamic stage experience, transforming from a forest into other settings like a desert or a city parking lot, with the members engaging in live interactions, chatting between performances, and even delivering encores. Following its run in Korea, the concert will embark on an international tour, commencing in the US with stops in cities such as Los Angeles, Buena Park, Houston, Chicago, and New York, with further plans for global distribution.
