Ador’s Min Hee-jin replaced by new CEO amid ongoing dispute

Former Ador CEO Min Hee-jin was questioned about an alleged breach of trust at the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul on July 9, and subsequently stepped down from her position. This development came amidst an ongoing dispute between Min and Hybe, the music company's parent company. The company has appointed Kim Joo-young as the new CEO, and announced that Ador will undergo internal restructuring, separating its production and management functions. The new CEO, Kim Joo-young, is tasked with stabilizing the organization and overseeing internal management for Ador. The decision to appoint a new CEO and restructure Ador's operations was made following a board meeting on the 27th. Despite stepping down as CEO, Min Hee-jin will continue her work in producing for NewJeans and remain a director at Ador. The company emphasized that this leadership change and restructuring aims to align Ador with the multilabel operation principle consistently applied across other labels under Hybe, and to fully support the growth and success of NewJeans.
