CJ Olive Young, South Korea's largest beauty retailer, is gearing up for its Big Bang Sale event from Friday to September 5. During this week-long sale, they will slash the prices of over 10,000 products by as much as 70 percent. This initiative also includes generous discounts on a wide range of Korean beauty products, with a focus on medium-sized brands, accounting for 80 percent of the offerings. To further entice customers, the company will select specific products from various brands each day to receive additional discounts, both in-store and online. In response to the growing demand for color cosmetics in early fall, nearly 5,000 such products are set to be on sale, including face highlighters, powder, lip pencils, and oils. In addition to the domestic event, Olive Young will also host a global sales event called Big Bang Sale, available on their global website that serves customers in almost 150 countries. This cross-border initiative will offer products from major K-beauty brands such as Skin1004, Torriden, Clio, and Roundlab at reduced prices. Through these promotions, the company aims to not only help customers keep up with the latest makeup trends for fall but also introduce them to the potential of Korean indie cosmetic brands.
