[Herald Interview] Kard returns with easy-listening summer song


K-pop group Kard has released their seventh EP, "Where to Now? (Part 1: Yellow Light)," marking their first album in 15 months. Renowned for their reggae music and dynamic performances, the group has introduced an easy-listening track for the first time on this new album. Somin of Kard expressed that the album features new attempts to cater to a wider audience, aiming to satisfy the public's listening needs with a more accessible song. The lead track, "Tell My Momma," embodies a vibrant and energetic easy-listening vibe, driven by addictive rhythms and lively melodies. Additionally, the EP includes six side tracks, featuring genres such as tropical pop, electro-pop, hip-hop, and reggae. Notably, Kard has tailored their music for their growing Western fanbase, with all tracks in English except for the rapping portion of the lead track. Looking ahead, the group has a busy schedule with tours in the US and Germany, and plans to visit Latin America next year. Moreover, Kard has signed with the United Talent Agency to further expand their presence in the US market.
