Lun8 delivers hip, free-spirited ode to youth

Korean boy band Lun8 has made a comeback with a new song celebrating the carefree nature of young people. The group's leader, Jinsu, described their latest release as having a cool summer vibe compared to their previous warm spring tune. Since their debut, Lun8 has consistently explored themes of youth in their music, with their new album focusing on a more rebellious and dynamic image, as explained by the youngest member, Eunseop. The title track, "Whip," is designed to convey the sensation of riding a free wind through its powerful choreography and catchy verses. The group, which debuted in June last year and recently celebrated their first anniversary, has been increasingly involved in creating their own music and shaping their unique style. During a press conference for their third mini album, the members expressed their joy in being fully immersed in their performances on stage, with Chael describing it as living a dream. Looking ahead, Chael expressed a strong determination to raise the group's profile beyond their existing fan base to the general public, in line with the message of their album title, "Awakening."
