[Today’s K-pop] Kang Daniel to return next month with 5th EP

Kang Daniel's agency Ara announced that the artist will be releasing new music in September, with a trailer for his EP "Act" being released on the same day. This upcoming release will be his first in about 15 months, following his fourth EP, "Realiez." Kang Daniel, who recently marked the fifth anniversary of his solo debut, has been involved in legal actions, including suing his former management firm and signing with a new agency. Stray Kids made history by becoming the first K-pop act to grace the cover of Rolling Stone UK. The magazine described them as "fully-fledged global superstars" and highlighted their achievements, including debuting at number 1 on the Billboard 200 with their first five chart entries. The group's ninth EP, "Ate," continues to perform well on the main albums chart, and they are currently embarking on a sold-out concert tour. Vanner is set to release a new album in September and will precede the full release with an English-language single. The five-member boy band, which gained popularity after winning the band contest "Peaktime," will promote the upcoming album as a quartet, as one of their members is currently serving in the military. Additionally, former NCT member Taeil lost about 1 million followers on Instagram after being removed from the band due to a sexual crime accusation, and his former bandmates have unfollowed him.
