[Today’s K-pop] NCT Dream to drop English-language single


NCT Dream is set to release the English-language single "Rains in Heaven" on August 23, as announced by their label, SM Entertainment. The 80s-style pop tune, featuring lyrics co-written by member Mark, incorporates drum, bass, and synthesizer sounds to create a soothing and empathetic listening experience. The group will debut the song during the North American and European leg of their world tour "The Dream Show 3: Dream()scape," which kicks off on August 31 after previously starting in Seoul and later continuing in Manila. EXO's Chanyeol is gearing up to drop his debut solo album, "Black Out," on August 28, following the announcement by SM Entertainment. The EP will showcase his musical versatility across six different genre-spanning tracks. Despite being his first official solo album, Chanyeol has previously released singles such as "SSFW," "Tomorrow," and "Good Enough," and is also embarking on a solo tour across 10 Asian cities under the title "City-scape," starting with live shows in Seoul before traveling to various other cities until November 21. Enhypen's second studio album, "Romance: Untold," achieved platinum certification in Japan, becoming the fifth of their albums to log 250,000 shipments in the country and the first to do so for a Korea-released album. The album also debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart and saw the release of a remix of "Brought The Heat Back," featuring American singer Ava Max. Meanwhile, The Kingdom is set to embark on a tour of eight cities in the US next month, showcasing their lead single "Flip That Coin" from their eighth EP "Realize," which marks a new chapter for the band following their previous seven-part kingdom series.
