[Today’s K-pop] Seventeen to return in October

Seventeen is set to release their 12th EP in October, and Pledis Entertainment has announced that the band will also embark on a world tour across North America and Asia to perform songs from the upcoming album. The tour, named "Right Here," is in reference to the group's best-of album "17 Is Right Here," which achieved significant success earlier this year. The album set a record on the Oricon chart and is the only K-pop album this year to sell over 3 million units. Additionally, the group's encore tour in Japan and Korea earlier this year drew 380,000 fans, and they are scheduled to headline Lollapalooza Berlin next month. Le Sserafim is making a comeback on August 30 with their fourth EP, "Crazy," as announced by their agency Source Music. This follows the success of their previous EP "Easy," which claimed the No. 8 spot on the Billboard 200 and produced the group's first entry on the Hot 100 chart. The upcoming album comes after the group wrapped up their fan meeting tour in Japan last week, held in four cities. Yuta of NCT is set to host a solo showcase in Japan in October and release an album, marking his debut as a solo artist. He will visit five prefectures in Japan for nine live shows under the title "Hope." Yuta, the first idol from Japan to be launched by SM Entertainment, has also ventured into acting in Japan. Meanwhile, Blackpink has achieved a significant milestone with 13 billion plays on Spotify, with their most streamed song being "How You Like That." The group will celebrate their eighth debut anniversary with an autograph session in Seoul and the premiere of their tour film.
