[Today’s K-pop] Zerobaseone continues 1m sales streak with 4th EP


The latest EP from Zerobaseone, "Cinema Paradise," achieved remarkable success by selling over 1 million copies on its release day. The lead single, "Good So Bad," not only debuted at No. 8 on the iTunes Top Songs chart in 15 regions but also claimed the top spot on the Top 100 chart of LINE Music in Japan. Additionally, the music video for "Good So Bad" garnered over 12 million views within 24 hours of its release. Following this achievement, the band is gearing up for its first international tour, "Timeless World," scheduled for next month. NCT Wish, a subunit under SM Entertainment, is preparing to make a comeback at the end of September with a new album. The six-member group has been making waves with their recent single, "Songbird," which sold over 530,000 copies in its first week, setting a record for a K-pop idol band that debuted this year. Furthermore, the subunit is set to release its first EP in late September, following a prerelease early next month. In other news, N.Flying, a boy band under FNC Entertainment, announced an upcoming Asia tour, "Hide-Out," which will take them to four cities from November 23 to February 9. The tour will mark the return of guitarist Cha Hoon, who is set to be discharged from his mandatory military service next month. Meanwhile, Chungha is set to drop a special single titled "Algorithm" on Wednesday, marking her first release since signing with More Vision and her performance at 2024 Waterbomb Singapore alongside 2NE1's CL and GOT7's Bambam.
