Ateez 1st K-pop artist to perform at Paris' La Defense Arena

K-pop sensation Ateez is embarking on the European leg of their world tour, "Towards the Light: Will to Power," with plans to visit nine countries and perform 12 shows from January to February 2025. The tour will kick off in France, marking Ateez's first standalone concerts in cities like Lyon, Zurich, Manchester, Barcelona, and Cologne. Notably, Ateez will make history by being the first K-pop artist to hold a solo concert at the La Defense Arena in Paris, known for its capacity of around 40,000 attendees. Following a successful North American tour in July and August, where Ateez performed in 10 cities and drew in approximately 200,000 fans, the group is making waves globally. They achieved milestones such as their stadium debut at the BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, becoming the first K-pop boy group to perform at Globe Life Field in Arlington, and the second K-pop act after BTS to grace the stage at Citi Field in Queens, New York. Additionally, Ateez members are garnering attention as fashion icons, with Hongjoong, Wooyoung, and San attending prestigious fashion week shows in Europe for brands like Balmain, Courreges, and Dolce & Gabbana, respectively. San even had the honor of being invited to a private dinner hosted by music legend Madonna during Milan Fashion Week spring-summer 2025. Ateez is also gearing up for the release of their fourth Japanese single, "Birthday," on October 2.
