Hyundai Mobis wins cybersecurity certification in Europe


Hyundai Mobis recently received a cybersecurity certification from the ENX Association at its technology research center in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, making it the first automotive parts supplier in Asia to achieve this recognition. This certification enhances the company's global competitiveness by increasing its prospects for securing orders worldwide. The presentation ceremony for the cybersecurity certification was attended by representatives from the European association, which boasts prominent members in the auto industry, including BMW, Bosch, Daimler, and Volkswagen. The certification signifies that Hyundai Mobis' main products comply with European automotive cybersecurity regulations and that the company has implemented the necessary business procedures and systems. By establishing a dedicated cybersecurity organization in 2020 and focusing on enhancing its cybersecurity management system, Hyundai Mobis aims to address the growing importance of cybersecurity in the automotive industry, particularly as vehicles evolve to become more software-intensive and data-driven.
