Kakao to unveil Nvidia partnership at conference next month


South Korean tech giant Kakao is gearing up to introduce its latest artificial intelligence service, Kanana, at the upcoming developers' conference scheduled for next month. The annual event, named "if kakaoAI 2024," will take place from October 22 to 24, during which Kakao will not only unveil Kanana but also announce its AI partnership with Nvidia, a prominent graphic processor unit manufacturer. The conference will feature a series of presentations and discussions related to Kakao's AI initiatives. Kakao's CEO and Chief AI Officer will share insights on the company's AI roadmap and introduce Kanana X on the first day. The second day will see discussions on Kakao's evolution into an "AI native company" and delve into the details of Kakao's generative AI model. Additionally, Nvidia's Vice President will join as a special speaker to discuss the partnership with Kakao and their collaborative efforts in boosting the AI ecosystem. The event will comprise various sessions covering AI technology, data, cloud, backend, and mobile topics, aiming to showcase Kakao's advancements in AI technology and highlight its commitment to fostering innovation within the IT industry.
