NewJeans fans corner Hybe amid PR backlash, looming National Assembly audit

The conflict between Hybe, the parent company of NewJeans' agency Ador, and the subsidiary's former CEO Min Hee-jin is escalating. The group's fan base, known as Bunnies, is planning to file a complaint against Hybe's executives for allegedly mishandling NewJeans' promotions. Hanni, a member of the group, might appear at the National Assembly audit to address workplace harassment concerns she hinted at during a live broadcast. Fans are demanding action against Hybe's PR team for downplaying NewJeans' success and are calling for the reinstatement of Min Hee-jin to restore normal operations at Ador. Criticism has been directed at the new Ador CEO's leadership for delaying fan meetings and album releases, potentially leading to significant financial losses for the company. The National Assembly's Environment and Labor Committee has requested Hanni and Ador CEO Kim Ju-young to testify about the reported workplace harassment and the company's response to such issues during the upcoming inspection.
