QWER returns with 'My Name is Malguem'

Rising girl group QWER has made a comeback with their second EP, aiming to spread love and comfort through their positive energy. Formed by YouTuber Kim Gye-ran, QWER consists of Chodan on drums, Hina on guitar and keyboard, Magenta on bass, and Siyeon as the vocalist. Their latest EP, "Algorithm's Blossom," was released recently, featuring the title track "My Name is Malguem," which conveys a message of moving forward courageously despite challenges. The EP includes collaborations with various artists, such as (G)I-dle's Soyeon, electronic trio Idiotape, and composer Sumin. Hina mentioned during a press conference that working with Idiotape was inspired by their storytelling abilities through music, while Soyeon provided valuable guidance to the band. Despite being a relatively new band, QWER has garnered attention and performed at prestigious events like the Incheon Pentaport Festival, showcasing their dedication to continuous improvement and hoping for continued support from their fans.
