The South Korean bakery company hosted the Paris Baguette Europe Conference in Prague last week, focusing on expanding its global business in Europe. Hur and Jack F. Moran, head of SPC's European operations, collaborated on strategies to enter the Eastern European market, including discussions with CzechInvest CEO Jan Michal and other financial authorities to explore investment opportunities and export potential for Korean bakery goods. In addition to the conference, Hur participated in the Prague Korea-Czech Business Forum as part of an economic delegation accompanying President Yoon Suk Yeol. The discussions aimed to enhance bilateral cooperation and investment opportunities with local business leaders and government officials. Hur expressed optimism about opening new global markets and promoting Korean food, emphasizing the company's commitment to boosting the national economy through increased overseas exports.
