Stray Kids to perform at American Music Awards

Stray Kids has been confirmed to perform at the upcoming American Music Awards ceremony on October 6, as announced by the AMA on Friday. The AMA, marking its 50th anniversary this year, is regarded as one of the top four prestigious music award shows in the United States, alongside the Grammy Awards, the Billboard Music Awards, and the MTV Video Music Awards. Stray Kids will be the second K-pop group to grace the American Music Awards stage, following BTS, who made their debut appearance on the show back in 2017. Notably, Stray Kids received recognition at the Billboard Music Awards for Top K-pop Album and at the MTV Video Music Awards for Best K-pop last year. In addition to their upcoming performance at the American Music Awards, Stray Kids recently embarked on their "dominATE" world tour, commencing in Seoul. They are set to become the first K-pop group to perform at Singapore's National Stadium this weekend. The tour will then journey through various countries including Australia, Taiwan, Japan, the Philippines, Macau, Thailand, Indonesia, and Hong Kong until January of next year. Further plans are in place to expand the tour to South America, North America, and Europe in the future.
