[Today’s K-pop] NCT Taeyong’s solo concert film to premiere

NCT Taeyong's debut solo concert is set to be adapted into a film and will be shown in cinemas from September 25. The movie, titled "Taeyong: TY Track in Cinema," not only captures the live performance but also offers a behind-the-scenes look at Taeyong's preparations for the concert, including candid commentaries. This comes after the success of his second solo EP "Tap," which topped the iTunes Top Albums chart in 33 regions and the lead single on the Top Songs chart in 16. Taeyong is currently fulfilling his mandatory military duty in the Navy's marching band. Meanwhile, BTS' Jimin will be the focus of an exhibit in central Seoul from October 11 to November 3, showcasing his solo career and albums "Face" and "Muse." The exhibit will feature media installations, behind-the-scenes content, and a handwritten letter from Jimin. His second EP "Muse" has achieved significant success, spending six weeks on the Billboard 200 and peaking at No. 80 on the main albums chart. EXO's Baekhyun has teased his upcoming fourth solo album "Hello, World" with a video clip, giving fans a preview of the six tracks. The album includes the R&B tune "Pineapple Slice," for which a second teaser trailer for the music video has been revealed. Baekhyun's previous EP "Bambi" sold over a million copies, and he is set to make a solo comeback after about 3 1/2 years. Xdinary Heroes, in collaboration with rocker Yoon Dohyun, is gearing up for the release of a digital single album "Open beta v6.4" on September 9. The album will feature two tracks, including the main track "iNSTEAD!" with Yoon. This collaboration marks the fifth installment in Xdinary Heroes's "2024 Xperiment Project," with a second LP expected to be released by the end of the year.
