What will Yoon, Han talk about at dinner?

President Yoon Suk Yeol and People Power Party Chair Han Dong-hoon are set to meet for a dinner gathering on Tuesday to address pressing issues, particularly the escalating medical crisis in the country. The dinner will be attended by 14 officials from both the ruling party leadership and the presidential office. Han had requested a private one-on-one meeting with Yoon, but the presidential office hinted that this might not occur on Thursday. Although the agenda for the meeting has not been officially disclosed, it is expected to focus on a wide range of topics. Notably, resolving the ongoing medical crisis, triggered by the prolonged strike of junior doctors protesting the government's decision to increase medical school admissions, is likely to be a top priority. Additionally, the meeting may address the recent passage of three contentious bills by the opposition-led National Assembly, including one concerning allegations against the first lady. The meeting follows a previous postponement in August due to disagreements over the medical school quota increase proposed by Han.
