Who's lying? Hybe vs. Min conflict continues to intensify

Former Ador CEO Min Hee-jin became emotional during a recent press conference in Seoul, as tensions between Hybe and herself escalated with new allegations emerging. Following Ador's rejection of a request to reinstate Min as CEO, she revealed in an exclusive interview that Hybe had offered her a settlement in May involving monetary compensation for her resignation. Despite this offer, Min stated that her primary motivation was not financial gain, leading to a public dispute as Hybe vehemently denied making such a proposal, emphasizing that they never offered money to Min in exchange for her departure. Additionally, Min criticized Hybe's internal audit, labeling it as emotionally-driven and based on false information, while Hybe countered by stating that the audit was initiated based on internal and external reports. The audit allegedly uncovered evidence suggesting that Min and the deputy CEO were actively undermining the company over an extended period, with statements and actions indicating intentions to break away from Hybe. Among the contentious issues was the discrepancy regarding NewJeans' sales figures in Japan, with Min questioning Hybe's reported numbers and the company explaining that they had corrected a significant distortion in media reports by providing accurate sales data based on official sources like the Oricon chart.
