As concerns mounted about potential staff shortages in hospital emergency rooms during the upcoming Chuseok holiday due to a junior doctors' walkout, the government began deploying military doctors and public physicians to address the issue on the same day as Yoon's visit. During his visit, President Yoon emphasized the need for fair compensation for medical staff in essential healthcare services and pledged to increase government support for these critical departments.
