Yungin, Grammy-winning audio engineer, releases debut album 'Did You Know? Part 1'


Yungin, a Korean-American audio engineer who has won three Grammy Awards, recently made his debut as a music producer with the release of his first full-length album, "Did You Know? Part 1." The album is a significant project that features several prominent Korean hip-hop artists, such as Jay Park, Jessi, Camo, Lil Cherry, Changmo, Paul Blanco, Since, Sokodomo, BM, Bobby, Loopy, Dok2, and Koala. Yungin expressed that the album represents a culmination of his musical journey and a deeper exploration of his unique sound beyond his engineering background, reaffirming his Korean roots. The album includes two title tracks, "Stand Out" featuring Jay Park and "Turbulence," a collaboration with pH-1 and Justhis that was co-produced with renowned American producer Hit-Boy. Yungin celebrated the release of his debut album with a pool party in collaboration with Banyan Tree Club & Spa Seoul, featuring performances by Jay Park and other contributors to the album. Yungin's Grammy wins have solidified his reputation as one of the industry's most sought-after engineers, known for delivering exceptional sound quality. He has also worked with K-pop superstars, including BTS members RM, Jimin, and Jungkook, as well as producer Pdogg.
