Hybe, the label associated with K-pop sensation BTS, has revealed plans to give a contemporary twist to traditional cultural artifacts such as a miniature white porcelain moon jar. This collaboration with the National Museum Foundation of Korea will see the creation of fourteen items adorned with BTS-inspired designs and lyrics, including the iconic moon jar and a contemplative bodhisattva statue. The unveiling of these items is scheduled for Wednesday, coinciding with Hangeul Day, a national celebration of the Korean writing system's cultural significance. Choung Yong-suk, the president of the National Museum Foundation of Korea, expressed the hope that this collaboration will allow a wider audience to appreciate the intricate beauty of these cultural treasures, such as the white porcelain moon jar and celadon pottery. This initiative marks the third time since 2021 that BTS has joined forces with the foundation to showcase and promote Korean cultural heritage.
