Central bank chiefs from South Korea, China, and Japan convened in Beijing on Thursday to discuss various economic and financial trends.
Bank of Korea Governor Rhee Chang-yong participated in the meeting alongside his Chinese counterpart, Pan Gongsheng, and Japanese counterpart, Kazuo Ueda. This gathering marked the 13th meeting of its kind, chaired by Beijing's top central banker.
The central bank officials exchanged insights on recent economic and financial issues affecting their respective countries.
Looking ahead, the Bank of Korea announced that the next trilateral meeting of central bank chiefs will take place in Japan.
